Why KVFS?

Outdoor Immersion

Students at KVFS are allowed time for the work of childhood. Abundant, uninterrupted time to play, observe, create, and explore.

Seasonal Studies

Our place-based nature curriculum, called Seasonal Studies, is structured and scaffolded with lessons to help children have a deep understanding of the natural cycles and concepts all around them.

A child sits at a desk with an adult, both engaged in writing. Books, papers, and other items are on the desk.

Whole Child Support

Students at KVFS practice and learn real world skills that grow confidence alongside traditional academics.
